This magnificent 100,000 SF building contains over 760,000 gallons of both salt and fresh water habitats. Created an interactive and functional environment for a variety of exhibits including penguins, eels, and sharks.
PHASE 3A BLDG
Several years following the initial Aquarium construction, the client started a 6,500 SF building for a new River Otter exhibit and indoor space for a colony of Sea Lions. All exhibits total about 80,000 gallons of freshwater.
Ed provided services through Deutsch Associates and Nudell Architects, both of which he was previously employed. Ed continued as a consultant to the Zoo/Aquarium on future build-out and expansion through the firm of Wimmer Architecture & Consulting, PLC.
